Inter-Residential Championship

Just one month after students settled into University Accommodation in February, they embarked on a year-long journey to claim the Inter-Residential Championship Trophy.

The tournament featured teams from every hall and residence. Carlaw Park Student Village emerged triumphant and took home the Inter-Residential Championship trophy while O’Rorke Hall won the Hall Spirit award.

This year’s Inter-Residential Championship featured events in:

Green Your Room – Winner: University Hall – Towers

Volleyball – Winner: University Hall – Towers

Debating – Winner: Waipārūrū Hall

eSports – Winner: Waipārūrū Hall

Netball  – Winner: Waipārūrū Hall

Quiz  – Winner:  Carlaw Park Student Village

Talent Quest – Winner: O’Rorke Hall

Each semester the Student Wellbeing team host Wiki Whai Hauora, a week where we encourage students to pursue health and support their physical and mental wellbeing.
